Narrative
KJ and Dan have trouble communicating. After a few years of a strained relationship, a couple visits a friend’s cabin for the weekend to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on what to do, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding themselves back in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a petite woman who can charitably be described as “eccentric”: she’s their owner’s younger sister and didn’t know anyone was staying at the family cabin. No problem if she crashes, right? As the couple tries to juggle this distraction, adding to their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to fear that this pesky third wheel threatens more than just their relationship…
