Hugh Jackman said that he really had enough of the role of Wolverine after Logan (2017)
Narrative
Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead he recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. The Deadpool and Wolverine team share how they dealt with raunchy jokes, and Emma Corrin shares what it was like working with fellow affable megastars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. He then said that he regretted that statement after seeing the first Deadpool film, and expressed to Ryan his interest in seeing the two characters face off on the big screen. When asked why he decided to return for this film, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it, and I had a gut feeling,” adding that he wanted to have the best possible time ever on a film set alongside Ryan Reynolds. Likewise, Reynolds wanted to work with Jackman since the first Deadpool film and was sad when he (Jackman) left the role..

Also, I never thought I would see some “old” and “old/new” characters in this movie.

Lots of easter eggs if you’re that kind of nerd, really nostalgic. I could say this is one of the best multiverse movies ever. Also the soundtrack to this movie was great. However, the movie should have been longer because we waited many years for this prequel. When it ended, it was bittersweet because I grew up with these movies.
